Alexis Prince is a 6’1’’ guard out of Orlando, Florida who is going to potentially be one of the top players in the nation in the class of 2012. Prince has registered double doubles in 15 of her 21 games this season leading Edgewater High School to a 16-5 record. Although Alexis is hard to guard on the court we take this opportunity to go One on One with Alexis on Full Court Recruiting.

FCR: How has your high school season gone so far?

AP: So far things have gone well. I really did not expect high school basketball to be this fun, but I have really enjoyed this season so far. Our team is doing well so I am excited to see how we finish the season.

FCR: What specific aspects of your game have you been working on to fine tune your game?

AP: I have been working on my defense; I have worked hard to dedicate myself to that this year. I also have been working on my rebounding; I know I am a good rebounded but feel like I should get more rebounds. I have also been working on my level of aggressiveness and intensity in taking the ball to the basket. My coaches have told me I need to be more aggressive when I take the ball to the basket off the drive.

FCR: What schools are at the top of your list as far as recruiting so far? Have you visited any and what is your impression of them?

AP: Maryland, Connecticut, Rutgers, and Florida I have already gotten letters from. Right now those schools would be at the top of my list but because of how young I am the recruiting is very new to me and I am sure it will change as my career continues. The only school I have visited so far is Florida, which I really liked because it had a good academic program and athletic program.

FCR: What are your goals to wrap up the high school season on a positive note?

My goals for us at the end of the season first and foremost is to play hard and know we did our best to make it as far as we could for the seniors on our team. If we do not make it to state but did our best we all can live with that. But my personal goal is for us to win the state championship.
