Full Court Recruiting: How has your high school season gone so far?
Justine Hartman: Our season has gone pretty good. We had a bit of a rocky start, losing to Cajon and then [to] Wesleyan at [Nike] TOC. Since the Wesleyan loss at the TOC, we seem to have found our game and have been rolling ,,,; and we got Cajon back! Personally, I'm happy with the way I'm playing. I spent all spring and summer working hard to rehab my knee and it seems like I'm almost back, playing to full
strength.
Full Court Recruiting: What specific aspects of your game have you been working on to fine tune your game?
Justine Hartman: When I was hurt, I worked a lot on my left hand (I'm actually better with my left jump hooks then my right now), ball-handling, and fine-tuning my jump shot. I continue to work on post-moves and footwork, but I'm starting to
develop my perimeter game more and more.
Full Court Recruiting: What schools are at the top of your list as far as recruiting so far? Have you visited any and what is your impression of them?
Justine Hartman: I haven't been able to visit too many since I missed the Spring/Summer club tour this last year. I'm planning on visiting Boston College, Cal Berkeley, Duke, and North Carolina this spring and summer just on my own with my family. I've also been to USC a few times and they have a great staff and great gym. I also went to see a Stanford game and toured their basketball facilities. As far as my top choices, I'm still undecided since I still have a lot of time.
Full Court Recruiting: What spring event will you be playing in this year? What travel team are you playing on?
Justine Hartman: I'm playing with Cal Storm Elite. I'm excited to finally get the chance to play with my friend, Chelsea Gray. The schedules aren't set yet, but I'm pretty sure we'll do the Nike Summer Showcase in Chicago and Nike Nationals in South Carolina.
Full Court Recruiting: What are your goals to wrap up the high school season on a positive note?
Justine HartmanWin our CIF Division Championship and then win State!
