HoopGurlz Challenge History
From its great teams and competition, to all the emerging young high-school stars in the region, to the beautiful Furtado Center, the HoopGurlz Challenge already has a rich and exciting history. The Challenge is held every year at the practice facility of the NBA Sonics and WNBA Storm. Participation in the tournament includes tickets to a Sonics home game, making it a memorable, team-bonding experience. Exposure at the tournament also has put many young players on the radar for national rankings that appear on HoopGurlz.com, Scout.com and FOXSports.com.
