Chris Bown is the head girl's basketball coach at Lakeside and a former assistant with the Seattle Storm of the WNBA. He previously was an assistant coach under legendary Sandy Schneider at Lakeside for five seasons. In 2002, Chris was the Coordinator of Individual Player Development for the Storm, which made the WNBA playoffs for the first time is its history that season. A graduate of the University of Washington, Chris also has been the head coach for girls varsity basketball teams at Holy Names Academy, Seattle Academy and American Indian Heritage School. In addition to basketball, Chris has coached soccer, track and field, cross-country and football, and has been a math and physical education instructor at St. Paul School and Seattle Academy.
