Banana Run with a Postup
Requirements: One coach, one ball and 1-3 players.
Player starts at the baseline, outside the free-throw lane. She sprints to the 28-foot line, plants her foot and sprints to the elbow for a jumper. Player backpedals until the coach retrieves the ball, cuts to the opposite block for a pass from the coach and executes a post up move. Coach rebounds the jumper and passes to the player in the post opposite side. Next player goes.
Options:
- Player catches the ball on the pivot and dribbles in to the first jumper.
- Player catches and shoots the three-point shot.
- After the player shoots the first postup move, she turns immediately to the opposite side of the floor for a pass from the coach and another postup move.
