This week's Prospect Watch is dedicated to watching some of the prospects we've watched all year during their National Letter of Intent signing ceremonies.

They won't sign a document more influential on their lives until, what, a mortgage or marriage license? Or maybe nothing else.

So it was a time to celebrate.

And confirm.

"I'm coming to do ATL," Alex Montgomery of Tacoma, Wash., wrote on the cover sheet of her faxed National Letter of Intent for Georgia Tech.

There had been speculation that Montgomery, No. 15 in the HoopGurlz National Hot 100, might have been looking elsewhere.

Not.

It was even an emotional day for her coach at Lincoln High School, Kevin Strozier.

"From where we came from, five years ago, I didn't think I'd ever have a kid at this level," Strozier said. "This is why I'm here, to help kids leave this level and get to the next. If it so happens they play basketball at that next level, that's great."
