Jenice Johnson and Bernisha Pinkett have signed letters of intent during the late signing period at the University of Kentucky

Both seniors come out of H.D. Woodson of Washington, DC. Johnson a 6-6 center, originally committed to NC State but never signed a letter of intent due to the uncertainty surrounding the Wolfpack Head Coaching position. Johnson, who had her own personal story previously featured on this site, only played half of her senior season due to issued concerning her eligibility which was decided in her favor just after the New Year. Once Johnson regained her eligibility, Woodson went on to win the Washington DC Public Schools City Championship. Pinkett, a 5-8 shooting guard along with highly regarded Ronika Ransford made up the starting Woodson back court.
